Mr. M's Mighty Kindergarten M&M's

Read the Night before Kindergarten.  Introduction of Handwriting Without Tears which is our handwriting curriculum at Hillside Academy.  Capital letter "F" is our letter of the week so challenge your child to look for "F's", and sound out "F".  Fffffffffff.  Writing journal entry was favorite sports for today.  Reading group will start Monday.

We had fun with "Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar", a chanting, and repetitious song that all the children participated in and should be able to repeat some parts if not all.

We lost out on end of day treat (M&M's) for second day as we still need to practice our transitions from one activity to the next, and remembering to use the bathroom, get a drink, before we start a learning activity.  Remind the children.

Math continued with the next lesson, and I sent out an email with your child's  log in information should you /they wish to review or practice online the lessons we have gone over
