Happy Halloween

After a week of preparation the day is finally here!  We had a most enjoyable day with secret message decoding, and candy corn math.  How sweet is that?  Our party was wonderfully decorated by Bentley's mom, Heather.  She also supplied goody bags.  Homemade cupcakes were made by Laina's mom, Nicole, and Alex's mom Stacy.  Forgot to ask if the kids helped?  It was all very festive and spooky with those vampire teeth!

We did get some math in, in the form of candy corn with a number of challenging problems using the candy corn.  Hans brought back Listening Dragon with some wonderful adventures to tell us about.  Listening Dragon was with us at Remlinger's Farm as she of you saw.

Kids had music today and got some scary tattoo's from Miss Amy, which I forgot to send home with them.

Our first letter of this week is "Y".

Thank you again for your help moms!

Now we prepare for Thanksgiving, and I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner.  Enjoy the photo stream on the right.
