Today in reading we read Under.  Look for your children to ask to read it to you.  Our Let's Find Out magazine was about bears.  Interactively the children matched rhyming sounds, and saw a short video of grizzly bears catching salmon as they made their journey home.  In the magazine we read about bears in fiction and nonfiction stories.
Letter of the day was "Z", and in phonics we practiced the "Z" sound and "Y" sound.

Today was PE day.

Today we visited with Mr. Huber at the Duvall Library.  She read a few farm themed books to the kiddos.  She commented more than once on how well behaved and respectful our children are.  I allowed them to check out two books today and gave Mrs.Huber a class list so she could renew them automatically if the books are not returned by our next class visit.  You may return your books yourself, or send them back in to me, as I usually make at least one trip to the library a week.
