In reading we read Fruit. In handwriting the letter "I". We will finish all of the capital letters this week and next week we will begin what for most children find more challenging, lowercase. In phonics I did site words with the kids.
Our dear Spanish teacher, Miss Deborah, was sick so we did a major pilgrim craft. We crafted boy and girl pilgrims. Like giant size. Well not life size, but pretty big. I hope to have them displayed in the next day or two. Story time continued with the Thanksgiving theme. By next week I will hear "Please Mr. M., no more T-Day stories."
In math we finished unit 3 with a final review and then a unit assessment.
I will start working on progress reports over the next two weeks.
