First we all wish Bentley a speedy recovery from being sick.  We all made him cards and sent our best wishes to our friend and classmate.

I don't think I mentioned we do have a few baby guppies in our fish community.  So I guess we are foster parents.

We read The Forest  for reading.  In handwriting the letter "A".  In phonics we have been using our workbook to identify beginning and ending sounds through the alphabet.  We had an abbreviated PE class with the kids doing some PE between getting their pictures taken in the gym.  For math we did lesson 3.7.  This lesson was on sorting and identifying patterns.  What comes next?  For social studies we talked again about what we are thankful for.  I played a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving which puts the Peanuts characters in the roles of the Pilgrims so that they understand how the tradition started back with the Mayflower.
