Library Day

We had our first kindergarten visit to the Duvall Library today.  Mrs.  Huber, the librarian, was kind enough to read some great fall books to the children.  She also told us a wonderful tale, which the children enjoyed.  Just about everyone now has a library card. For those who do not, I sent home a form for a card today.  I checked out a book for your child if they did not yet have a card.  Please remember to return the books to the classroom or the library before the due date, which is shown on the slip in each book.
I sent home with the children a program that the King County Library system uses to promote reading.  Have your child read for 20 min, for 20 days in any month, and return the completed sign-off sheet to any King County Library for a book prize.

In our reading group this morning we read Little.  In handwriting letter "N"was up as we practiced writing capital "N".  How many "N" words does your child know?

We also had PE today.

Permission slips for our field trip to Nature Vision in Duvall were also sent home today.
