Mr. M's Mighty Kindergarten M&M's

Well we had our first visit from the leprechauns.  The room was trashed, but alas no leprechauns were trapped. We were able to follow the leprechaun sparkly dust, and trace them back from our classroom to the playground and to a storm drain.  The new strategy for tonight was to bait the traps with M&M's.  In our reading today they suggested taking a doll and dressing it like a fairy in green.  Leprechauns supposedly can't resist a fairy with wigs in green.  Other thoughts were to put a potato in the trap.  Oh well, we will keep our fingers crossed.

In reading we read You and I.  In handwriting it was letter "L,l".  I did sentence dictation from our reading.  In Explode the Code we continued lesson four.  Kids had PE today.  From PE we did Envision Math 8.8, and will take our unit test tomorrow.

We finished our day by starting on our own leprechauns to the sounds of the music of Ireland.
Reminder - this Thursday is our class trip.  Remember the car seats/boosters!
