Almost, almost.

The children feel sure they did capture leprechauns last night.  If a leprechaun is caught, he must turn over his pot of gold, and since each of our traps had a pot of gold in it this morning we may have set the record for the most leprechauns caught in a single evening.

In reading we read in honor of Han's heritage, The Animals of Canada.  We are now into reading level "C" books.  In looking forward it is entirely possible that we get to level "D" books, which are first grade level. We have Creative Movement today and only had a chance to journal.  The topic was eagles.  I choose eagles as I had two fly so close to my car today that I felt it was a sign.  So I also bought two lotto tickets.  The good life here I come.
In science we continued with Animals Two By Two with a discussion of what fish need to survive. The kids changed water, and moved the fish from one tank to another along with the plants, and fed them.
For math we began Unit 9 with more addition and subtraction.
