Today we talked about what joy is, and what it means to us.  How do we express joy and how we feel when we feel it.  We spoke about the great joy people must have felt when Jesus performed miracles.

In reading we read The Picnic.  Remember to take time out to read to your children, and if at all possible for them to read their daily take home book to you.

Valentine's day was so busy last week that we didn't get to finish one of our crafts- so we did that today.  What better way to remember our Crazy Hair Day than to have a picture of us in a decorated frame!

In handwriting it was letters "B,b".  In Explode the Code we almost finished our Lesson 3 Workbook.  I began Science with an introduction to Animals Two by Two.  We discussed the features that make animals seem somewhat similar, when they are in fact different - like a horse and a zebra, or a duck and a crane.  We are developing our eyesight, as scientists do, to identify the things we look at.

In math it was lesson 7.6, with this unit almost at an end.  We had music today, and for choice time we watched the DVD of the performance from the Christmas play.

I took pictures of the kids with their Uglydolls, and read from our Uglyville book.
