Mr. M's Mighty Kindergarten M&M's

Today we mixed, rolled and baked our gingerbread boys and girls.  I thought we would have time to decorate them but the last rehearsal cut into that time.  I told the children when we got back from rehearsal that Miss Tara had baked the gingerbread kids and when she opened the oven, they all jumped out and ran as fast as they could saying "you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man."  Well I played that for as long as I could, and then said they were just fine, and that we would decorate them tomorrow.

For reading today we read My Face.  We worked on lowercase "w".  Then in our phonic workbooks we did beginning and ending sounds, along with some spelling practice.  We did not do math today but plan on completing the unit tomorrow and doing a final assessment Monday.

Reminder that tomorrow night is showtime!  Please have the children here by 6:00 PM.  Curtain rises at 6:30.  Also please have them wear black or something dark.  Also encourage them to sing loud so you can hear them.
