We read What Animals Eat for reading group. In the computer lab we worked on Explode the Code, and IXL. Kids had PE today.
We had a special invitation from Mrs. Huber to Dia Day at the library. This is a national event that promotes multi-national reading. Mrs. Huber read us a stories from India, China, Mexico, and our own Native American culture. A reminder that our regular library date is next Tuesday. Please bring into class, or drop off at the library, any books that are still at home.
We also filled out and decorated invitations for the moms to next Friday's tea for Mother's Day. Please try to attend if you can. It is on May 11, at 2:30. The children will perform, and will create a special gift to honor you. We had our end of unit math test which completes our introduction to measurement. Next up in math is sorting, classifying, and counting.
