Mr. M's Mighty Kindergarten M&M's

Today we read I Wonder.  In handwriting we did the calendar for April.  In phonics we worked on filling in missed work due absences in our workbooks.  Most are done.
The kids had movement class today with our own Miss Kathleen (Caiden's mom).  In social studies the kids started adding rain to our rainforest.  What is a rainforest without rain.  You know I did not think of that, but they did.  "Mr. M, don't we need some rain?"
 In math we did lesson 10-4 which brings to a close for this unit.  We will have our end of unit test next Monday.  I sent home math enrichment packets to be done at home.  In science we talked about land snails.
We conducted snail races and Laina's snail won with Sedona's snail a close second.  A few snails appeared to be sleeping.
We now have 6 chick eggs, and frog eggs are hatching.  Bubba shed his skin last night.  I did not realize it all comes off at once.  Very cool.
