Mr. M's Mighty Kindergarten M&M's

For reading today it was My New School.  I have put together a last five days of school pack that we will do for the next 5 days.  It is a writing, math, reading, word find, fun pack which the kids seemed to enjoy. They can help each other or do by themselves.  I encouraged them to collaborate, and most in fact did.

Lego man came in today, and the kids had the opportunity to create a working windmill.  By using picture directions they were able to create the planned windmill.  Then they were turned loose to modify and create a new windmill.  Every team managed to create very different versions of the basic windmill.

We made our final trip to the Duvall Library and thanked Mrs. Huber for this past year with a special card and flowers.  We ended our day with lesson 6-2 in math.
